EMERALD BATTLE FRONTIER SETS

-Tool-

The Emerald Battle Frontier is home to 300 different trainers that share a pool of around 882 Pokémon sets. Looking each of them up while in the heat of the battle can be slightly annoying, even more so when you have to go one by one by hand. This tool lets you find all of the sets a certain trainer can have with an easy search that takes a few seconds, letting you focus on everything else more.

To use it while battling, you must check the trainer class and name of the NPC you're about to fight, and then proceed to look for them in this tool. First, select the trainer's class and then the trainer's name. If you want a more accurate read of the stats, select if you're playing on level 50 or 100. Good luck!

Pokémon IVs.

Trainers in the Battle Frontier use Pokémon with fixed, uniform IVs across all stats.

  • Trainers 1 to 100 use Pokémon with 3 IVs
  • Trainers 101 to 120 use Pokémon with 6 IVs
  • Trainers 121 to 140 use Pokémon with 9 IVs
  • Trainers 141 to 160 use Pokémon with 12 IVs
  • Trainers 161 to 180 use Pokémon with 15 IVs
  • Trainers 181 to 200 use Pokémon with 18 IVs
  • Trainers 201 to 220 use Pokémon with 21 IVs
  • Trainers 221 to 300 use Pokémon with 31 IVs

There's a glitch on the Battle Factory where the IVs of the trainer's Pokemon are tied to your current Battle Tower streak. The closer to 0 your streak is, the weaker the Pokémon you will face in the Battle Factory will be.

The amount of IVs per stat on each round will be:

  • Round 1 - 3 IVs
  • Round 2 - 6 IVs
  • Round 3 - 9 IVs
  • Round 4 - 12 IVs
  • Round 5 - 15 IVs
  • Round 6 - 21 IVs
  • Round 7+ - 31 IVs
